Well, it's a beautiful day today! I'm so excited to get outside and ride some horses! It's been a great few weeks in the horse aspect of life, lots of horses to ride, new horses in training and even nice weather to do it all in! I've got my first big Dressage show of the year coming up this month, Dressage for the Cure at Penrose! The weather is so awful this morning that I cannot even get outside to feed the ponies, they are all hunkered down in their sheds right now, warm and snuggly in blankets and not the slightest bit concerned.. However I still feel bad!

Well, we got a lot of snow out here! It was an interesting drive to work this morning at 3am, thank goodness for 4-wheel drive!! I'm hoping all the snow melts into the ground pretty fast and gives the grass a well earned drink ready for spring!



Today was uneventful, I was at work by 3:30am and there until 12:30.... Proceeded to pick up some hay after work, grab a few groceries, come home, feed the ponies, re-arrange blankets and now I'm getting ready for bed again! I have a 3am start… Continue

Hello springtime, and all the wet weather we're going to get, or at least I hope we get. The ground needs some moisture for the grass to grow!! It's snowing again, big, fat, white snowflakes. It actually looks quite pretty against the increasing darkness, glad I worked the ponies before this all set in. Now their all snug-as-a-bug in their rugs. =]

I have recently picked up yoga after meeting Theresa Zenner. She's a Parelli student and Yoga Instructor. She produced a dvd set called "Fluidity Connection". It's a 35 minute (plus introduction and instruction) Vinyasa Flow Yoga workout for Equestrians. Cool stuff!
